# Bourrelet

[Bourrelet](/content/glossary/bourrelet/index.html) is a double knit fabric with a rippled, corded texture running horizontally on it which creates kind of ribs. Usually in wool and cotton, is often used to do cardigans, pullovers, knitwear, details of garments etc.
